Sophyto is a proud sponsor of the Beauty Bus Foundation, a charity that delivers dignity, hope and respite to chronically or terminally ill men, women and children and their caregivers through beauty and grooming services and pampering products.
Beauty Bus’ core program provides in-home beauty and grooming services, free of charge, to patients whose illness or condition prevents them from accessing a salon or spa and their caregivers.
The foundation creates ‘pop-up salons’ where patients and caregivers receive a variety of complimentary beauty and grooming services in a setting that promotes support and serenity. The patients also receive complimentary ‘bags of beauty’ filled with pampering products to remind them that they deserve to look and feel beautiful.
We regularly donate Sophyto products for the beauty bags and this month, we are also sending our popular skincare collections to the Beauty Bus founders and the incredible women who won the Volunteer Awards, for going the extra mile in getting involved with the charity.
The Beauty Bus Foundation really is a wonderful organization. It was set up in memory of Melissa Marantz Nealy who sadly died from a neuromuscular disease, aged 28, by her sister and cousin. Witnessing how much Melissa appreciated receiving beauty treatments, they decided to spread similar joy to others in need.
